The Role
At Norton Motorcycles, every detail matters — from the first sketch to the final test ride. As Project Manager – Test & Development, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our world-class motorcycles meet the highest standards of performance, quality, and reliability.
In this role, you’ll manage the Design Verification Plan (DVP) and testing status across multiple vehicle projects, ensuring all validation activities are tracked, coordinated, and delivered to plan. You’ll also support parts tracking, departmental planning, and administrative coordination, helping to keep the Test & Development function running with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the Design Verification Plan (DVP), maintaining accurate status tracking and documentation across all vehicle programs
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of all validation and test activities
- Support parts tracking for test and development builds, ensuring availability, traceability, and documentation accuracy
- Assist with departmental planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and milestone reporting
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the Test & Development leadership team
- Track and report project progress, highlighting risks, dependencies, and required mitigations
- Help drive continuous improvement across test processes, data management, and documentation standards
About You
- Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
- Strong organisational and coordination skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Experience managing project documentation, test plans, or validation activities in an engineering or automotive environment
- Comfortable working with engineers, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain project momentum
- Proficient in MS Office and project management tools (e.g., Excel, MS Project, or similar)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present clear and concise updates to technical and non-technical audiences
- A proactive, can-do attitude, with a passion for precision and quality in every task
Desirable
- Experience in automotive, motorcycle, or mobility product development
- Familiarity with test and validation documentation, DVP&R, and prototype build processes
- Understanding of engineering change, BOM management, or PLM systems
- Passion for motorcycles and an appreciation for craftsmanship, innovation, and performance engineering
