The Quality department assures quality across the business. It’s the confluence of detailed planning, astute risk analysis and rigor in execution. Key deliverable of the function is to ensure the highest customer perceived quality at every customer touchpoint. The limbs of the quality department work with process owners in quality planning ,establishing metrics , periodic measurement against the metrics and driving improvement projects.
Working across the extended supply chain ( dealers , manufacturing and suppliers ) , the Quality department works to deliver the best possible product and service experience to customers. This is achieved by; proactive quality planning in development of new products, deploying a stage gate process to ensure quality growth through the development phases, setting up quality assurance and control mechanisms for sustenance of Quality covering suppliers , production and dealers and establishing and monitoring systems for continual improvement.
