The role
We are seeking an experienced Business Assistant to join our dynamic Engineering team. The Business Assistant will play a critical role in strategic planning, financial analysis, and operational optimization within our engineering organization. This individual will work closely with engineering leadership to develop and implement business plans, assess project feasibility, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and business acumen.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of engineering-focused strategic plans that align with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
- Product and Service Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, develop, and launch innovative engineering products and services that meet market demands and drive revenue growth.
- Managing all PR process for engineering department and tracking the cost for CTO.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate potential risks associated with engineering projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of engineering strategies and initiatives, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including engineering teams, executives, and external partners, to foster collaboration and drive consensus on strategic priorities.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency gains within the engineering function, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and performance.
Personal Specification
- Experience with SAP (desirable)
- Strong background in engineering
- Expertise in business strategy development and implementation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly and present complex information in a concise manner
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (Presentation skills)
- Familiarity with engineering principles, project management methodologies, and industry regulations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
