The Role
The Sales Operations Manager – EU plays a critical role in driving commercial performance across the motorcycle market in Europe. Acting as the operational backbone to the Regional Director – EU, this role ensures sales processes, data, and infrastructure run smoothly to enable the regional team to meet and exceed revenue targets.
You will collaborate closely with country sales teams, marketing, supply chain, and dealer networks to streamline operations, enhance forecasting accuracy, optimise dealer performance, and identify growth opportunities within the EU motorcycle market.
Duties/Responsibilities
Sales Operations & Process Management
- Support the Regional Director – EU in executing the regional sales strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
- Manage and refine sales reporting tools, dashboards, and KPIs to provide actionable insights for regional leadership.
- Oversee the sales forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with production and inventory plans.
- Implement and maintain efficient sales processes, ensuring consistency across EU markets.
- Manage the complete order flows across Europe.
Data & Insights
- Analyse regional sales trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to inform strategic decision-making.
- Monitor dealer network performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
Commercial Support
- Coordinate with marketing and product teams to ensure market launches, campaigns, and promotions are executed effectively.
- Liaise with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure optimal product availability and timely delivery to dealers.
- Support dealer incentive programmes, tracking results and target achievements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the link between regional leadership and operational teams to ensure goals are met.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Partner with after-sales and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience across the region.
Personal Specification
- Proven experience in sales operations, commercial management, or business analysis within the automotive or motorcycle industry (minimum 5 years).
- Strong understanding of EU motorcycle market dynamics, dealer networks, and B2B2C sales models.
- Excellent analytical skills with advanced Excel and CRM (Salesforce or equivalent) proficiency.
- Ability to work across multiple countries and cultures, with strong cross-functional communication skills.
- Fluent in English; additional EU languages highly desirable.
Desirable
- Experience supporting senior leadership in a regional or multi-market capacity.
- Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management in a dealership-based distribution model.
- Comfortable with travel across the EU.
